Join the Pacific Chapter in November to discuss relevant and timely topics in the waste management industry. SWANA Day, set to take place at the Pinnacle Hotel in North Vancouver, is a one-day forum that brings together waste management professionals from various industries in BC, Yukon and beyond. It features technical sessions, networking and the Pacific Chapter’s AGM.
The Call for Papers is now OPEN. Abstracts should include lessons learned, both good and bad, that will benefit a broad-based audience. Please refrain from advertising or promoting a particular product, service or company.
Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
- Construction & demolition materials
- Special waste
- Illegal dumping, litter and public spaces
- Recycling end markets
- Emerging technologies
- EPR Programs
All submissions should include an abstract of 500 words or fewer that includes:
- Presentation title
- Presenter’s Name
- Affiliation and contact information
- Brief description that summarizes the presentation and indicates why this is significant to the industry; and
- Statement of major conclusions or messages
