SWANA Pacific – BC & Yukon was pleased to sponsor the 2017 District of West Vancouver’s student video contest which was a huge success. The theme was Our Waste, Our Responsibility and was open to every student in the District from Elementary to High School and some truly exceptional entries were submitted for judging.
Over 40 videos were received on four contest topics:
- Illegal dumping
- Abandoned waste
- Litter
- How to recycle waste

A special Participation Prize is awarded to Leanne Pruner’s Grade 5 class at Ridgeview Elementary for submitting the most videos. The class will receive a zero-waste pizza party!
