Special Ministry of Environment Q and A Workshop on Landfill Criteria for Municipal Solid Waste

Date: April 4, 2014 Time: 2:00 PM – immediately following the Closing Plenary at the 7th Canadian Waste Resource Symposium.  This criteria, last updated June 1993 by the Ministry of Environment, now has a released DRAFT Interim 2nd Edition of the Landfill Criteria for Municipal Solid Waste which is seeking stakeholder comments before May 31st, 2014. BCMoE Organic & CR&D Waste Workshop

Date: April 2, 2014 Time: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM – leading up to the Opening Reception Please join us for a workshop presented by Carey McIver on recent work she completed with Maura Walker & Associates, under contract to the Ministry. Carey will focus her presentation on case studies for use by local government solid waste managers on: Organic waste, and Construction, renovation and demolition waste.
