Mini Learning Sessions and “Tours-Tours-Tours” to Round Out your Week at 7CDN

Mini Sessions are available at the 7CDN on Monday and Tuesday and a great set of tours of facilities is available on the Wednesday. Monday sees a Landfill Fire Workshop in the morning and an afternoon session on Advances in Landfill Engineering. Look at the abstracts here. Tuesday sees a morning Session on Organics and an afternoon session on Natural Disasters. Look at the abstracts here Wednesday sees 2 great technical tours and one tour for technophobes and out-of-towners. Check out the details here. Special Ministry of Environment Q and A Workshop on Landfill Criteria for Municipal Solid Waste

Date: April 4, 2014 Time: 2:00 PM – immediately following the Closing Plenary at the 7th Canadian Waste Resource Symposium.  This criteria, last updated June 1993 by the Ministry of Environment, now has a released DRAFT Interim 2nd Edition of the Landfill Criteria for Municipal Solid Waste which is seeking stakeholder comments before May 31st, 2014.
