The City of Delta is seeking a Solid Waste Manager who is passionate about leading the City’s zero waste vision. Closes: May 3, 2023
The ideal candidate will employ creative solutions to promote sustainable practices, reduce waste and increase Delta’s recycling rates. The Manager will spearhead community engagement which may include championing new initiatives and programs, educating the community about waste reduction strategies, promoting recycling and composting, and encouraging the community to take action in their own waste reduction. These initiatives may require the candidate to think outside of the box and be open to feedback from the public and stakeholders.
