The Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District (ACRD) is requesting proposals from qualified individuals, community organizations, or private firms to design and deliver a Waste Management Public Education Program for Tofino, Ucluelet, Long Beach (ACRD Electoral Area “C”) and surrounding areas on the West Coast. Closes: March 27, 2023
The intention is to develop and execute a public education and outreach program in accordance with the waste management strategies and priorities set by the ACRD and to promote community awareness and educational programs designed to encourage participation and ensure appropriate recycling, waste reduction and environmental practices are followed in these communities. The ACRD also expects that a public education strategy framework be created.
