Every year WorkSafeBC publishes statistics on BC’s workers and employers, including injury and claims information. The attached graphs have been generated to illustrate safety trends specific to the Solid Waste Industry.
Both SWANA and WorkSafeBC have identified prevention of workplace injuries as a key priority, and looking at the industry data enables us to understand the causes and patterns of injuries so employers and workers can take action to prevent them from happening.
