Notice of Annual General Meeting
SWANA Pacific’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place virtually on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 12:00 PM (Pacific Standard Time). The purpose of this meeting is to:
- Elect directors
- Appoint or waive the appointment of auditors
- Receive and consider the financial statements of the Society for the period ended September 30, 2020
- Receive and consider reports of Directors
- Transact such other business as may properly be brought before the meeting
Call for Board Nominations
The Nominations Committee of SWANA Pacific – BC & Yukon is seeking qualified candidates who are motivated to contribute to the governance and direction dedicated to promote and facilitate the solid waste industry.
The term of office for a Director is two years and will commence after the Annual General Meeting to be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020.
Any member of SWANA Pacific – BC & Yukon, who is in good standing, may submit their formal nomination letter to the Board of Directors by email to [email protected] by midnight, Friday, November 6, 2020
