The Solid Waste Senior Engineer is a key leadership position within the Solid Waste Programs branch, and is responsible for overseeing a variety of programs and projects to help achieve the City’s Zero Waste and Public Realm Cleanliness goals. This position is responsible for overseeing a number of key focus areas including public realm cleanliness and recycling initiatives, the Street Cleaning grant program, providing supervision and leadership to the Clean Streets Team (education/enforcement program), and supporting Sanitation Operations (primarily street cleaning). The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator, communicator, innovator, leader and have a passion for helping make our City an even better place.
