About the Course
The Manager of Landfill Operations course provides a comprehensive primer in the study of modern landfills; including site design, regulations, health and safety, cost controls and other issues pertinent to planning, operating, and closing landfills.
The course includes lecture, activities and facility tour. The course helps to prepare for the Manager of Landfill Operations Certification exam.

All training will take place in-person in-person at the Cascades Casino – Delta located at 6005 BC-17A, Delta, BC.
Accommodation Info
We have made arrangements for preferred rates at the adjoining Delta Hotel located at 6005 Hwy 17A, Delta, BC (same place as the MOLO training). Rates for a standard king, double or queen guest room during this training time is $259 plus applicable taxes.
Please call the hotel directly at 604-382-8222 or click here for a reservation before May 17, 2024. Room block will not be honoured after this time and will be charged general rates based on availability.

What is the refund policy?
A full refund minus a $75 administration fee will be issued prior to 30 days (May 15, 2024) before the MOLO training course. Full charge applicable thereafter. Although refunds will not be issued within 30 days of the training which the participant is registered for, substitutions ARE allowed. Please call or email request to [email protected].
As we will be utilizing the new Canadian MOLO manual, once a manual has been purchased, it cannot be returned or refunded. You will be charged for the manual.
Where is the course being held?
This MOLO course will be delivered at the Cascades Casino – Delta located at 6005 BC-17A, Delta, BC.
What are the days and times?
We are planning a 3-day course – Tuesday, June 18 to Thursday, June 20 (3 full days) starting at 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM PST each day.
Does this include the SWANA MOLO exam?
This training course does not include the MOLO exam. MOLO certification exams are offered online by SWANA.org and can be completed at any time. The exam costs $250 USD for members and $400 USD for non-members. Note that SWANA Pacific cannot register you for the exam and does not administer the exam.
