Membership

A great investment.  Become a Canadian member!!  Click on the 'About Us' tab at left to get a feeling of what the BC Chapter of SWANA can offer you in addition to the SWANA International benefits listed below.  Membership rates are normally quoted in US dollars.  Payment in US dollars by credit card provides you with best daily exchange rates.  Alternatively SWANA calculates dollar conversion rates monthly.  For the current membership rates in Canadian funds, please visit SWANA.org. All prices effective through 8/31/08.

Price includes 1st year dues and chapter membership.  Discount applies to NEW members ONLY.

New Regular Member (Public Sector): $169 US  (You are considered eligible for Regular Membership if you work for a: City/Township, State, County, Municipality, Government, or University)

New Corporate Member (Private Sector): $329 US  (You are considered eligible for Corporate/Sustaining Membership if you work for a private company or organization with an annualrevenue of greater than $10 million per year and more than five (5) employees.)

Small Business Member: $229 US (Small Hauler - Any independent solid-waste hauling company with annual gross revenue of less than $10 million; Small Consultant - Any independent consultant for municipal solid waste practices with five [5] or fewer full-time employees.  Small Distributor - Any distributorship with ten [10] or fewer employees)

Student Member: $59 US (Copy of current class schedule required)

Retired: $59 US
