Join the SWANA YP’s for a night of networking – Escape Room on April 20 at i-exit in Vancouver, BC from 7 – 8 pm.
In 2010s, starting with Japan, East Asia, then North America and Europe, escape room started spreading across the globe. As of 2015, there are more than 2,800 escape rooms recorded worldwide.
A real-life escape room is set in a physical space, the games are designed to be fun, creative, and brain teasing, usually they have unique themes, engaging storylines, and single or multiple rooms that will have to be gone through in order to escape. Players are given a set time limit, usually between 45 minutes to an hour, to unveil the secret plot that is hidden within the rooms. The team will work together to find clues, solve puzzles, and to escape the room.
i-exit, located in Vancouver is about a 5-10 minute walk from the Granville train station. There are also several parking lots nearby. We will head to a nearby pub after the game.
The game starts at 7 pm. Please ensure to arrive 20 minutes early to sign the waiver (6:40 pm)
