Safety Matters Workshop

By January 24, 2016

Event Details

The waste collection industry has the dubious distinction of holding a place on the list of top 10 most dangerous jobs in North America. In 2016, SWANA has placed a high priority on providing helpful and necessary resources to contribute to reducing accidents and injuries in the industry. As a result, SWANA Pacific Chapter is pleased to present this first of its kind  workshop in BC. The session will include a variety of speakers focusing on safety issues associated with collection, transfer station and landfill operations. Asbestos and drywall disposal issues will also be addressed through plenary sessions and group discussions.
